Who runs this site
This site is operated by Forgotten Trails Inc. Contact for privacy questions is through Instagram DM at @christinealongtheway.
What is collected
The site itself has no account system, no comments, no analytics, and no advertising trackers. It does not ask you to create a profile.
Like most websites, the hosting provider and Cloudflare process standard request data: the page you requested, the time, your browser and device type, and your IP address. That data is used to serve the site, keep it secure, and diagnose problems.
If you contact by Instagram DM, Instagram handles the message under its own policy. This site does not publish an email address.
Cookies
This site does not set analytics or advertising cookies. Cloudflare, which serves the site, may set a security cookie to help distinguish people from bots.
The link-in-bio page at christine.forgottentrails.net links to Substack. If you subscribe there, Substack collects your email address and handles it under its own privacy policy. The page does not embed the Substack form, so it does not set Substack cookies.
The link-in-bio page loads fonts, styles, and scripts from Google Fonts and jsDelivr. Those services receive the request and may log the IP address.
External shops and platforms
Links to Etsy, Poshmark, Substack, Instagram, and Pinterest take you to services with their own privacy policies. This site does not control what those services collect.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
What is not done
Personal data is not sold. Contact details are not shared for advertising.
Your choices
You can send a DM on Instagram to ask what information is held about you, or to ask for it to be deleted. Some records may need to be kept for a sale or a legal obligation.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date at the top of this page will change with it.
